Hospitality in Tourism

As an introduction to the theme, the study materials include theoretical background of the following topics: service concepts, guest-host relationship, recognizing the customer's needs, service attitude and communication skills and service product knowledge & destination knowledge. Here you can also find exercises, material for independent reflection and for illustrating the content.

This e-learning material has been made to Cultural Tourism 2011 project. The material was created in co-operation between four tourism and hospitality lecturers: Ain Hinsberg (Estonian School of Hotel and Tourism Management), Marja Kinnunen (Turku Vocational Institute), Susanna Saari and Telle Tuominen (Turku University of Applied Sciences).
